About Hardware, IoT & Devices
Hardware is the hard way to launch. You have metal, plastic, firmware and a supply chain, and you still have to make people care. This is the category for founders who built something you can pick up, plug in or bolt to a wall, and who are ready to say so at full volume.
Browse devices for your desk, your pocket, your house or your factory floor. Software that runs connected fleets sits here too, because a sensor without a platform is just a paperweight. Every listing has one main category, so pick the subcategory that fits the product best. Newest launches come first. Sort by community votes if you want to see what the crowd backs. Votes can never be bought.
Compare what is actually in the box, what it connects to, and who keeps it working after launch day. Founders with a prototype, a pre-order page or a shipping product can submit at /submit. The category page lists everything here, subcategories included, with filters to narrow it down.

Hardware, IoT & Devices: questions answered
- What belongs in Hardware, IoT & Devices?
- Physical products and the software that runs them: gadgets, smart home devices, connected sensors and platforms, and robots. If a buyer can touch it, install it or manage a fleet of it, it fits. Pure apps with no device behind them belong in other categories.
- How do I choose between the subcategories?
- Pick by who uses the product and where. Consumer gadgets are personal devices, smart home is for the house, IoT platforms manage connected devices and data, and robotics covers machines that move and act. Each listing gets one main category, so choose the closest fit.
- Can my product appear in more than one subcategory?
- Your main category is included free. A paid upgrade adds up to 3 more categories for $5. That helps when a product genuinely straddles two areas, such as a robot vacuum that is also a smart home device.
- How do I get a hardware product listed?
- Go to /submit and paste your website address. An AI drafts the profile from that site, then you check and edit every field before anything goes live. A paid launch costs $5; a free listing joins a queue of about 6-8 weeks.
- What should I compare when choosing a device?
- Check what it connects to, whether it needs a subscription or an account, how updates are handled, and what happens if the maker stops supporting it. Look at the listing's own description, then sort by votes to see what the community rates.
